第14回講座～第17回講座（実施期間11月11日～12月16日）
クリスマスイルミネーションの製作および点灯
4回の講座をかけて3000個の発光ダイオードによるクリスマスイルミネーションを製作、
点灯動力は自然エネルギーを活かして仙台市立太白小学校校庭に設置するというもの。

＊第14回講座（11月11日実施）
12月16日、太白小学校にクリスマスイルミネーションを設置するまで会員は
「ボードデザイン班」、「風力発電機班」、「太陽光発電機班」の3班に分かれ活動。
今回の講座では初回ということで班分けと今後の活動内容を打ち合わせする。
＊第15回講座（11月25 日実施）
＠イルミネーションボード班はデザインを決定して発行ダイオードをボードに取り付ける。
＠風力発電機班は風を受ける羽根の調整と発電機本体へ取り付けを行う。
＠太陽光発電機班はソーラーパネルを取り付ける枠の製作に取りかかる。
＊第16回講座 (12月 9 日実施）
各班は、前回に引き続きイルミネーションの点灯に向けて製作の作業を進める。

発光ダイオードによるクリスマスイルミネーション点灯計画は「環境にやさしい自然エネルギーを
活用しよう」というクラブの目標の実現ということから、今年度活動の集大成と位置づけ総力を上げて
実施される。

クリスマスイルミネーション製作に挑む。

【 風力発電機班 】
自然エネルギー活用の一翼を担う風力発電機班、「どうすると羽根はよく回りたくさんの
風を受ける事ができるのか」指導員の問いかけに会員は改めて第5回講座で学習したことを思いだす。
昨年体験したメンバーが多いだけに真剣な取り組みの中にも余裕が感じられる。
【 ソーラーパネル班 】
以前の講座でそれぞれに楽しかったソーラークッキングやソーラーマシーンの製作、
そこで太陽光の力を学んできた会員、そのとき使用したパネルを慎重に設置しながら
イルミネーション点灯計画で再び太陽のすごい力を認識する。
【 イルミネーションボード班 】
初めての体験、イルミネーションのデザインに ついて自分たちの意見を活発に出し合う。
鉛筆の先にも力が入っている。
12月16日世界でただ一つの作品ができるね。周りも楽しみ！

イルミネーション点灯の動力となるソーラーパネルがついに完成！校舎南側に設置する。
太陽の機嫌のよい日が続きますように！！！
力いっぱい回り始めた風力発電機、年末まで頼もしい威力を発揮する。風よふけ！！！
迷路のように張り巡らされたボード裏の配線の一部。
点灯の命綱となる。会員や指導員の皆さんの気持ちがしっかりと灯りそう☀
クラブのPRをかねた、イルミネーションの案内掲示板ができました。
大勢の方に太白少年少女発明クラブを応援していただきたいという思いがたくさん込められています。
また、発明クラブの目標の一つに、イルミネーション点灯行事を通じて「自然エネルギー大切にして活用する」という取り組みが太白の地域に根付き他へ広がっていくこともめざしています
日が暮れるのを待つ点灯式直前のひと時、発明クラブをサポートしてくださる皆さん方の手により
温かい豚汁やお菓子などが振舞われる。
地域の方から、「昨年同様とても楽しみにしていました」と嬉しいコメントをいただく。

おめでとう！2か月間かけたLEDクリスマスイルミネーションがついに点灯しました！

寒い中、本当に生き生きと楽しそうに活動していました。
一度学習したことをさらに掘り下げてイルミネーション点灯とい大きな形にできたことで、
みんなの充実した感動がしっかりと伝わってきました。
今回の活動で自然のエネルギーに対する理解もさらに深まったこようですね。
会員のそれぞれに得た興味や関心がいつかどこかで点灯することを指導員、関係者全員が
願っています。
